Outfit / Winter Shorts

I may look angry, but I swear I’m not! This was my 20-something attempt to figure out the lighting and camera angle in my apartment

So my in-house contract finished two weeks ago and I’ve been at home in December doing freelance work for wonderful companies like Brika (super fun – check them out!).

When you’re working from home I think it’s really important to not sit around in pajamas all day (though it’s tempting…), I often find myself popping out for impromptu meetings – or coffee with friends – so I try to wear something nice, but more laid back than what I would wear in an office. I bought these Topshop shorts (these current ones are pretty cute) last year and love how comfy they are, while still conveying a polished look. As for my Madewell menswear booties, I can not say enough good things. Also a last-year purchase, these are my go-to flats, rainboots and the perfect way to dress down a very girly look. I’ve been eying this current pair on their site for awhile. I’m hoping they’ll be added to the post-Christmas sales – fingers crossed!
