For the past couple of weeks my life has basically consisted of studying, so I’ve either been holed up in the library or sitting in cafes. I haven’t really had the time or motivation to do much of anything else, but I’m still trying to be somewhat fashionable. I know a lot of people resort to the uber comfy clothes around this time of year, but I like to feel somewhat put together… at least when I venture outside of my apartment! Comfort is definitely key when studying, so I try not to wear any clothes that are too stiff or structured. Often I’ll go with tights and a long sweater, but when I opt for jeans I make sure they are stretchy ones. Temperature is also something to keep in mind, since the libraries can be unpredictably hot or cold…scarves are a must, and layers help out with this as well. The outfit above is pretty plain, it was so dark and dreary yesterday that black seemed like the only thing to wear, but my love of colour came through at the last minute and I threw on bright scarf to add some life to the outfit. Only two weeks of studying left and then I’m free! (for a few weeks at least) How about you? What do you wear when you’re studying or working on a project after hours?
