Lately I’ve been getting into make-up more and perusing the aisles of Shoppers for deals and cool new products. So I’m going to try to do some reviews on the things I’ve been trying and first off is my new mascara L’Oreal Voluminous Million Lashes. I have no brand loyalty when it comes to mascara, I tend to buy a different one every time – usually whichever one is on sale or looks cool. I had two Maybelline mascaras that I was using before; one was Illegal Length which did a good job lengthening, but didn’t give enough volume, and the other was Colossal Volume that was supposed to be waterproof but was running down my face after a day of surfing in Costa Rica. They were both decent, but not good enough for a repeat purchase so I decided to look for something new. My lashes are fairly long, but also straight (curling is a must!), so I wanted a mascrara that would give them more volume. I looked a at a few different options, did some quick searches online to read reviews and decided on the L’Oreal Voluminous Million Lashes. I’ve been using it for about a week now and I like it so far. It definitely makes my lashes look fuller and more “voluminous” and it doesn’t clump when I apply it. I’ve had a bit of smudging but nothing major and I’m pretty sure it’s just from rubbing my eyes so it can be easily avoided. I definitely prefer this mascara over the two Maybelline ones that I was using before but it hasn’t quite wowed me, so I’ll probably try yet another one next time I buy.
